Engineered for Success: Beyond the Average Fly Line
RIO Fly Lines are specifically designed to excel in a huge range of situations, mirroring the specific challenges to be found around the world. For example, RIO’s Scandi Outbound series has been designed specifically with the UK’s salmon and sea trout anglers in mind. And on the trout front there is a wide choice of lines to meet the exacting demands of modern UK Stillwater and river anglers alike. Here are some of the features that set RIO lines apart:
- Understanding Target Species: RIO Fly Lines are meticulously crafted to optimise casting performance for the specific techniques and flies required in any given situation. So whether presenting a size 20 dry fly to spooky, wild trout or casting large, heavy tube flies for spring salmon on a fast sinking Skagit set up, the right fly line for you is here.
- Material Selection to Suit Conditions: RIO Fly Lines utilise high-quality materials with specific tapers and coatings designed for particular species, climates and conditions. So a line for targeting game fish in warm southern hemisphere saltwater flats will have a completely different make up to a line designed for the cold freshwater of a Scottish salmon river. These essential considerations ensure smooth casting and exceptional line control, allowing for precise presentation even in the most challenging situations.
- Advanced Technologies for Enhanced Performance: RIO Fly Lines are at the forefront of fly line technology. Features like RIO’s revolutionary SlickCast technology for incredible casting performance at distance, and “InTouch” technologies for unmatched line feel, control and bite detection all contribute to a more successful fishing experience.
