ULBC Tactical Jacket is a lightweight, windproof jacket with excellent breathability and freedom of movement—perfect for hiking and fishing. It is part of our Ultra Light Back Country (ULBC) concept, designed for anglers who want to reach the best waters where no roads go, with smart weight‑ and space‑saving solutions. Insect & sun protection

Made from tightly woven nylon, the fabric blocks mosquitoes and other insects without added chemicals—ideal in the mountains of Lapland, but also in tropical settings where biting bugs can be a real annoyance. The jacket also provides UPF 50 sun protection, important in southerly latitudes and equally valuable in alpine terrain at higher altitudes.

Durable, quick‑drying fabric

Constructed from thin yet durable nylon, the material resists abrasion and pilling, making it a dependable choice under heavy backpacks. It dries quickly to keep you comfortable through changing conditions. The bluesign®‑certified fabric ensures environmentally responsible production with restricted use of harmful chemicals.

Fit & features for moving fast

A loose cut preserves mobility and leaves room for a mid-layer while maintaining a sleek profile. The hood has an elastic edge that seals out insects without restricting head movement; elastic cuffs and hem block wind and protect your wrists and lower back.

Angler‑focused details

On the front you find two pockets with vertical YKK ™ zippers that are easy to access and fit medium‑sized fly boxes. A Hypalon docking station keeps small tools or pliers close at hand, and a D‑ring at the neck lets you attach a net for quick access.
