Fulling Mill Mohican Yel May Dun

This gorgeous native ephemeropteran dun has in the past received quite unfair press – and from fly fishers who should really have travelled more. Where this ephemeropteran occurs in numbers – rough stony freestone rivers mainly – the dun is eagerly taken. My personal experiences are on the Pennine rivers of the ‘Yorkshire Dales’.
