Size One 

Our smallest SALAR WSS reel is designed for delicate conditions, fishing a light line on a single-handed rod. It holds 100 m of our 30 lbs SALAR backing, a shooting line and head, or a WF line up to a seven weight.

Size Two

It’s a true gem – never feeling too big or too small. Suitable for rods ranging from 9 to 13 feet. Hold 150m of Salar backing.

Size Three

This is a true workhorse – a reel that meets the high expectations of any devoted angler chasing big Atlantic salmon or steelhead. We recommend this size for rods ranging from 12 to 15 feet. It’s a large reel, holding 200 m of our 60 lbs SALAR backing.

Size Four

The SALAR WSS Four is built for the big rivers where the largest fish are hooked on big flies under all conditions. Size Four is made for pursuing the biggest fish with larger rods, ranging from 14 to 16 feet, and it holds 300 m of our 80 lbs SALAR backing.
