Frodin Salar Daisy Fly Reel – The Range

SALAR Daisy Reel One: This little gem is our smallest Daisy, designed for 9- and 10-foot single-handed rods. Despite its compact size, it features a powerful 4 kg drag, capable of handling salmon, sea trout, steelhead, and even the largest brown trout. Lightweight for a solid classic reel, it balances beautifully on any single-handed rod. Load it with 100 m of 30 lbs backing, shooting line and heads up to class #7/8.

SALAR Daisy Reel Two: Remains a compact reel while holding 150 m of 40 lbs backing, a shooting line, and heads up to #8/9. Perfectly paired with our 10-, 11-, and 12-foot rods, it’s the ideal choice when a single-hander needs extra backing. SALAR Daisy Reel Three: The perfect reel for our 13-, 14-, and 15-foot rods, the Daisy Three carries 200 m of 60 lbs backing and handles anything from Atlantic salmon to big steelhead.
