Frodin Fiery Brown Butterfly Series

This new favourite of ours originates from the old classics. Mallard feathers are some of Mikael’s favourite feathers. Her wound as a hackle in front of the translucent butterfly hackle it creates a very special appearance. We prefer to fish this in slow water on a cloudy day under conditions with a bit of colour to the water. It will almost disappear and can fool the most difficult fish. A great discreet fly that has given us many good salmon but also some huge seatrout.
