Deliveries to Europe
Following the UK’s departure from the EU, purchases made on our website out with the UK are now processed excluding a 20% UK VAT charge. Your order will however be subject to a tiered charging system for local VAT, import duties and delivery handling charge.
The total of you order will be updated at checkout once the shipping and billing address has been applied.
Calculating your order value
For the purposes of the local VAT and import duties calculation, the EU define the total order value as the sum of:
Calculating your import VAT + duties based on order value
€0 - €22 orders are VAT free and import duty free. Your order may still be subject to a delivery agent handling fee.
€23 - €150 orders will incur a local rate VAT charge (based on the location of the customs clearance house) and a delivery agent handling fee.
€151+ orders will incur a import duty charge (normally 10% of the order value), a local VAT charge (applied to the combined cost of your order value + import duty charge) and a delivery agent handling fee.

Scott Fly Rod Company introduces the all new Sector series of high performance, hand crafted saltwater fly rods.
Sector rods advance on Scott’s award-winning Meridian series to bring you a new level of performance and reliability in saltwater fly rods.
Scott combined all the proven technologies in Meridian rods with new tapers, new components and their all new Carbon Web technology.
Scott Carbon Web increases torsional stability and durability by encasing unidirectional fibers in a web of ultra-light multi-directional carbon fiber.
These fibers help counteract torsional forces giving you better tracking and positive long ling pickups for redirecting casts. They also help to reduce the propagation of micro fractures from stress and impact that can easily run in unidirectional layups and lead to failure.
Sector rods are fit with newly designed components that defy harsh saltwater environments:
They feature all new Ceracoil stripping guides with nickel titanium frames and highly polished Zirconia inserts along with Recoil nickel titanium snake guides for low friction and corrosion free performance. The guide sets are PVD coated in a low reflective coating for even greater durability and stealth.
The reel seat is milled from aircraft grade aluminum, featuring self-indexing slide hoods, extra deep knurling to easily turn lock rings with wet hands, type 3 mil-spec hard coat in non-reflective flat black, and line weight engravings for quick rod identification in boat racks.
Flor grade cork grips are turned to Scott’s modified wells shape in a saltwater appropriate length and diameter, and the new fighting butts feature a thick softer rubber for greater comfort in tough fights.
The Shilton SR Series is the latest addition to our already sterling range of reels. The SR range have been designed from the ground up with the saltwater angler in mind, rugged functionality with high grade 6082 T6 aluminium to give you the edge you need in any saltwater scenario. We have increased the overall diameter of the cork drag, resulting in less start up inertia and more stopping power, as well as adding one extra plunger (from 2 to 3), for extra drag engagement and durability. The reels are available in SR9 (9 weight), SR10 (10 weight) SR12 (12 weight)

Each line features a powerful front taper to cast the biggest of flies, and a short, heavy head to easily load powerful saltwater rods. The line is built on an extremely tough, ultra strong core in excess of 50lbs that will easily battle large fish, and resist being cut on coral and rock structures. A hard, tropical coating prevents the line from wilting in the heat. Size Length Head Weight Head Length Colour 550 gr. - Floating 100 ft 550 gr. 36 ft Kelp/Orange
At Hatch, we’ve created a backing material that has the touch and feel of Dacron combined with the strength and diameter of Gel Spun in a single 8 braid PE line for use in all fly fishing applications. Why only one size backing? You’ll see that the diameter of Hatch backing is equal to or less than our competitors’ products. Now look at the lb/kg ratings. You’ll notice right away that our material is stronger than everyone else’s. The diameter of the line determines how much backing builds up on the arbor of a reel, not the pound rating. So, a single diameter line can be used effectively in all fly-fishing applications – fresh or saltwater. Colour: White - We have decided to stock white as we have found that small fish with sharp teeth often take a liking too colourful backing which can result in a lost fly line and more importantly a lost fish!
