The Olive and Red Holo Diawl Bach is a fly pattern which was born by mistake. This unusual colour combination nymph features the sombre colours of brown and olive running through the body and tail, however, with the addition of the red holographic rib and incorporation of holographic chartreuse cheeks this fly also has some bright target points.
This is a particularly good nymph when fishing the washing line method for stocked fish.
