Fario Fly – Bob’s Bits Red
£1.55
This very simple pattern is tied to represent an adult buzzer and is probably one of the most consistent dry fly patterns used on English reservoirs. It was originally devised by Bob Worts and is one of the most tried and tested patterns. ¬†Today the Bob’s Bits comes in many guises and it is always worth having a good selection of these in your armory.¬† This version does not have the distinctive white wing often found in other tyings.¬† This is because we have found our version to be particularly effective when also fished wet.
